Lunges require core stability and glute strength. If you're having trouble with lunges, a "kneel to stand" is a foundational step as you focus on strengthening your core and glutes.
When I became a mom, I realized that we are not getting the exercise support we deserve. My background is in exercise science, specifically strength and conditioning. I remember my first postpartum workout post-c-section and how horrible it felt. I realized that despite my extensive knowledge and experience in exercise, I hadn't received any education on the right way to stay active during pregnancy, or how to rebuild core strength when someone has pelvic floor dysfunction, and there definitely wasn't any training on how to help moms balance fitness and family. That is when Active Mom Fitness was born!
After seeing that my carefully researched, unique training approach was helping hundreds of moms, I knew I had to give more moms access to this resource. That is why I created these digital programs...for moms like you to feel stronger than you've ever felt, and to move through motherhood with confidence that you can achieve your fitness goals!

I really love working out with Ashley as she helps me stay consistent.
